Foods That Are Good For Your Heart


Your heart is a delicate organ in your body. Apart from it being delicate, the heart plays a major role in your body. You can't live without a heart, so also every other living human. However, your heart function can be easily affected by a lot of things including what you eat. For this reason, you have to consume foods that can improve your heart health. Some of these foods include;

1.      Salmon

Salmons is a kind of fish which is rich in omega-3 fatty acid. Omega-3 fatty acid is an unsaturated fat which helps to lower bad cholesterol levels in the body. The unsaturated fat equally helps to raise good cholesterol levels. This helps to protect the heart from all kinds of diseases and keep it healthy. Red wine when taken in a low volume helps in keeping the heart healthy. Red wine contains not only alcohol but antioxidants also which helps in lowering bad cholesterol levels. It will reduce your risk of coronary artery disease which in turn will reduce your risk of heart attacks. You should reduce your spirit and bear intake, instead drink red wine.

8.      Dark Chocolates

Dark chocolates with at least 70 percent of cocoa have been proven to contribute to good cholesterol levels in the body. This results in good heart health.
